Family

Maysen turned 2 and had a couple of special guests at her party…

quite a surprise when Foofa and Toodee walked in. Maysen blew both of her candles out with no trouble.

Lily really liked the Yo Gabba Gabba gang too.

We took a trip to Tanganyika Wildlife Park this weekend, located in Goddard KS. It was the prefect day for it too, with a little cloud cover and the temperature in the 80’s.

There were lots of exotic animals to see and interact with. Reagan also got to ride a camel.

Some of the animals were as curious about us as we were about them. This Ring-tailed Lemur thought he was part of the Sparks Family.

Reagan went to her gymnastics class, which was also having a Halloween costume party…she went as a princess.

None of use knew it before hand, but as the class was concluding they announce Reagan had won “Gymnastics Student of the Month”!

She was very happy and they said that she was chosen not only because of her hard work, but also because she set a good example of other students by listening and staying on track.

Maysen had fun watching her sister.

We decided to take a trip to our local zoo this weekend. The weather ended up being perfect.

This Hyacinth Macaw was hanging up-side-down and decided to takeoff as we walked under him. He came so close that you could feel the wind from his wings.

Matthew plays lead guitar with “Curfew for Katie”. The band travels out of Mulvane Kansas, for local and not so local concerts.

These shots are from an acoustic performance at Wichita Town East’s Hot Topic on July 17th, 2009.

We took a trip this weekend and went to Kansas City. All of us wanted to visit relatives and go to Worlds Of Fun. It was great to see my Dad’s brother and his wife, Cork and Jackie, who live in Raytown, MO.

The next day, we went to Worlds Of Fun, which was only 3-miles from our Hotel. We had a blast!

Reagan invited me to her swim lessons, at the Mulvane KS pool. Click a photo below to see others.
